Bio

Message Mon born August 1.st 1957, began his musical training at the age of five playing classical music. Bach, Chopin, List, and Beethoven was his favorite childhood music. As a teenager he learned other instruments because there was no piano in band class. By the time he finished high school he was a seasoned in all styles of music and on his way to a life of playing it. In 1976 he joined The Sylvers Band and toured with them for two years eventually becoming their music director. After leaving The Sylvers he played for Linda Clifford.on a short tour, then put the family band back together. He wasn't to back up another artist until 2003 when he toured with Morris Day and The Time .

Jimi James became Message Mon in 1990 after realizing his calling for purpose. It was then that he knew he would be putting positive messages to music and telling people things that they don't know. It was about then that he began his journey into mysterious subjects of the world as he continued to play music in night clubs. His knowledge and use of computers is what made it possible for Message Mon to get his message to the planet.in music, video, documentaries, movies. He pinpointed his mission and fine tuned his direction after a few life changing experiences and magical encounters. This is when he founded the Flock Of Angels and became heavenly involved in anti violence charities. Message Mon is Artistic Director for the Nicole Brown Foundation and is currently working on a movie project called Angel In The Mirror.

SPIRITUAL

Message Mon was introduced to the concept of God and higher beings at a young age through his parents and the Christian Church. At a young age he learned the concept of creation and the story of Jesus, and believed it then until this day. It was after a bad cocaine habit and a couple brushes with the law because of it, his life took a serious turn towards spiritual interest. This was when he discovered his purpose and took on his angel name "Message Mon". His spiritual and magical life began after an experience on a hill top, which lead him to a mountain top to eventually get his orders from the source himself. After 10 visits to the pyramid mountain, Message Mon was on a quest to fulfill his destiny as a spiritual warrior.

TECHNICAL

Being a keyboard player, Message Mon was introduce to computers because of the musical applications. Starting out on a Mac Classic he learned graphics and desktop publishing. His use of computers evolved into just about every aspect of his life. Now MM is a artistic master of many of the programs ranging form graphics, web design. video editing, music production, and data base.
